Ingredients

Dry dredge:
Wet dredge:
Garlic Ranch:

Instructions

  1. Preheat fryer to 375 F.
  2. Cut 1/4 of the onion off from the top and peel. Keep the root intact and cut vertical lines down the centre of the onion.
  3. Mix the dry dredge ingredients and wet dredge in separate bowls.
  4. First coat the onion in the flour mixture, and remove any excess, then into the wet dredge and finally back into the dry.
  5. To make dipping sauce, mix ingredients in ingredients in a small bowl.
  6. Fry onion 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and the onion petals remove easily.
  7. Sprinkle with salt while it’s still warm and serve with garlic ranch. Enjoy :)
