Blooming Onion with Garlic Ranch

Instructions
- Preheat fryer to 375 F.
- Cut 1/4 of the onion off from the top and peel. Keep the root intact and cut vertical lines down the centre of the onion.
- Mix the dry dredge ingredients and wet dredge in separate bowls.
- First coat the onion in the flour mixture, and remove any excess, then into the wet dredge and finally back into the dry.
- To make dipping sauce, mix ingredients in ingredients in a small bowl.
- Fry onion 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and the onion petals remove easily.
- Sprinkle with salt while it’s still warm and serve with garlic ranch. Enjoy :)
