These southern sandwiches are a perfect sandwich if you're in the mood for a tangy and crispy dinner. The perfectly seasoned shrimp have so much flavour and are perfect for the summer.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix seasonings together and add 1/2 to the dried off shrimp and toss to combine.
  2. Add the other half of the seasoning to the flour/cornstarch in another bowl
  3. Add buttermilk, pickle juice and hot sauce to a bowl and mix to combine.
  4. Preheat fryer to 375 F. Dip shrimp in flour mixture, then buttermilk mixture, then once again in the flour.
  5. Fry shrimp for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. To make sauce, mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  7. Toast bread in butter and assemble with sauce on both sides, shrimp and desired toppings. Enjoy :)
