Instructions

  1. Slice chicken into strips and transfer to a large bowl. Coat in seasoning and add in buttermilk and hot sauce.
  2. Mix to combine and allow to marinate for 1 hour up to overnight.
  3. Preheat fryer to 350 F. Mix flour with seasonings and coat the chicken tenders in the seasoned flour, back into the buttermilk and once more into the flour.
  4. Allow to rest for at least 10 minutes for the flour to adhere to the chicken.
  5. Fry tenders for 3-4 minutes each, and are golden or until tenders reach 165F internal.
  6. To make hot honey sauce, melt butter in a medium pot and add honey and hot sauce.
  7. Simmer on medium low for about 5-7 minutes until thickened slightly.
  8. Coat chicken tenders in hot honey sauce just before serving and enjoy with the creamy garlic sauce :)
