Instructions

  1. Slice the beef into thin strips. Then in a medium bowl, mix the beef with the marinade ingredients. Set aside for at least 30 minutes.
  2. To make the sauce, mix together the chicken stock, cornstarch, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar, soy sauces, sugar, sesame oil, and white pepper. Set aside.
  3. Slice the peppers in onions in thin strips, all the same sizes to cook at the same speed.
  4. Heat your pan over high heat and add 2 tbsp of vegetable oil. Sear the beef on both sides, about 30 seconds per side. Remove and set aside. The beef should be about 80% cooked.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-high. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add onions and bell pepper and sauté for 3-4 minutes or until slightly softened but still has a bite. Add in grated garlic and giner and cook for another minute.
  6. Add the beef back into the pan and stir to combine. Add the sauce, stir and coat, and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Taste for additional seasoning and serve over rice :)
